The competition witnessed the participation of 20 ministries and government authorities, and received 15,000 entries from 440 local colleges and universities in 10 Middle-East countries. 13 teams were finally competing in the Middle East finals. In addition to the former award claimed by the Qatari team,\u00a0Qatar University won the \u2018Excellent Academy Award\u2019.\u00a0All winning teams received special certificates and trophies presented virtually by local Huawei representatives.
