The proposed future work can be divided into five parts, organized from the highest to the lowest priority as follows:<\/p>\n

  1. Produce a prototype of the smart appliances and use a real measured power value instead of emulated ones. Test the system in buildings like schools and homes and get their feedback to solve any possible issues.<\/li>\n
  2. Use a WiFi antenna with the ESP32 for very large distances between two devices (e.g. football court).<\/li>\n
  3. Improve the security system.<\/li>\n
  4. Add more features in the Blynk application to show statistics of all building energyconsumption.<\/li>\n
  5. Apply the ESP32 deep-sleep feature when it is not in active mode to decrease its energyconsumption further.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
