Then join us for the event below where the CSE department and the Career Development Center are organizing an online panel with guests from industry to talk about these topics.
CSE participates in Milipol 2021
Milipol 2021 was held in DNCC, Doha, to showcase the latest military software and hardware for homeland security system. Our department faculty member Prof. Sumaya AlMaadeed and her team showcased the food-and-medicine delivery robot, “NARSA”, designed to help people during the COVID pandemic. NARSA was completely built right from the product design to the prototype by Prof. Somaya’s team of engineers and students from Qatar University and personnel from Qatar military. The robot was presented as part of a collaboration program with Huawei.
His Royal Highness the Emir of Qatar and the Prime Minister of Qatar also graced the occasion.
