Applying for CS – Cybersecurity Concentration

Towards the end of the Fall semester, CS students who have completed CMPS 380 Cybersecurity Fundamentals will be invited to apply for the CS Cybersecurity Concentration. The admission decisions are finalized once CMPS 380 final grades have been posted to Banner. To be eligible, students must have achieved a minimum grade of C in CMPS 380 and a GPA of 2.5 or higher. Candidates with a higher GPA will be given priority during the selection process.

Note that the main distinction between the CS Major and the CS Major with a Cybersecurity Concentration is the completion of the 12 credit-hour Cybersecurity Concentration Requirements in place of the 12 credit-hour CS Major Electives package.
