Location and Spatial Context: Situated in front of the Sidra Medical and Research Centre, Qatar. Its a large scale artwork which can be viewed when driving by it in the parking lot of the building and also from afar. It is called a “pedestal site” artwork.

Community Role: Damien Hirst’s “The Miraculous Journey” is one of the largest sculptures in the world. It has received a lot of controversial comments from the conservative Muslim communities.
Cost of the art piece: 20 million US$
It consists of 14 bronze sculptures tracing the development of a fetus from gestation to birth.
