Avian Center, A Bird Sanctuary at Purple Island
Nowadays, with the growing urbanism, elements such as birds, large trees, reptiles, and insects are disappearing, which also have led to an irreversible change in our natural habitat. The land that used to accommodate a large variety of living organisms now can only inhabit a few.
This project tackles the results of human action and development against habitat loss, and question the impact of birds’ environment alongside human interventions.
The main goal is to use architecture as a tool to ecologically conserve and educate people in a proper manner with an experience that is gained rather than given.
