Hewaya Cultural Arts Hub
A cultural art hub, “HEWAYA” will be the first of its kind destination for cultural art in Qatar that targets people who are interested in Arabic calligraphy and poetry, ceramic and pottery-making, all under one roof.
Project Goals and Objectives
- Revive the Qatari identity through protecting the cultural arts as a contribution on Qatar’s national vision 2030 in preserving Qatar national heritage and traditions. 2. Provide a purpose-built project for artists and talented individuals and offer them the opportunity to promote their talents.
- Spread awareness of the importance of cultural arts and encourage the local community to participate and communicate through art.
- An important opportunity to contribute as one of the attractive destination for tourists attending the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2022 hosted in Qatar.
- Consider the pandemic circumstances by providing long-distance activities that connect people together remotely.
