World’s Largest Subway Project in Riyadh
Riyadh is planning the world’s largest subway project, that is two driver less metro lines in the capital of Saudi Arabia.The five-million city is looking for sustainable solutions for its local traffic problems. Because Riyadh is growing rapidly: since 1990, the population has doubled.
The new metro system is expected to fulfill the demands of the growing population in Riyadh, which is expected to reach eight million by 2030.
