Frank Lloyd Wright (born Frank Lincoln Wright, June 8, 1867 – April 9, 1959) was an American architect, interior designer, writer and educator, who designed more than 1000structures and completed 532 works. Wright believed in designing structures which were in harmony with humanity and its environment, a philosophy he called organic architecture. This philosophy was best exemplified by his design for Fallingwater (1935), which has been called “the best all-time work of American architecture”.Wright was a leader of the Prairie School movement of architecture and developed the concept of theUsonian home, his unique vision for urban planning in the United States

Style:

Broadacre City was an urban or suburban development concept proposed by Frank Wright. Broadacre’s vast suburban landscape, seemingly scattered across an entire continent, anticipates the prevailing urban context.

History:

Through Frank Lloyd’s lifetime. He presented the idea in his book The Disappearing City in 1932. Broadacre City as an alternative for the high density metropolitan city.

In “THE LIVING CITY“ Many of the building models in the concept were completely new designs by Wright, while others were refinements of old ones, some of which had been rarely seen.

In Broadacre City each family is give one acre (4000 m2) of land on which to build a house and grow food. The city was considered to be (almost) fully self-sufficient. The car was to be the main mode of transport. Some clean industry was planned along the edges of the city.

Nowadays Qatar trying to build up more green spaces in different places in the city as in Aspire zone which it contains a large park on it within the city.

And they have farms that are far away from the city Doha.
