System design constraints are the margins and specifications that should be considered when designing the project, including economic, environment, reliability and safety issues to name a few. The main objective of the design is to create ECMO patient mannequins suitable for SBT. The simulators design will be for neonatal and pediatric ECMO patients. Most of the design constraints will be set according to the client specifications, which is HMC in this case. The constraints should be followed closely in order to satisfy the client’s needs. The list of the design constrains, and standards with the priority of each constrain rated on a scale from 1 to 5, and 5 being the highest priority.
