The proposed future work can be divided into five parts, organized from the highest to the lowest priority as follows:

1. Produce a prototype of the smart appliances and use a real measured power value instead of emulated ones. Test the system in buildings like schools and homes and get their feedback to solve any possible issues.
2. Use a WiFi antenna with the ESP32 for very large distances between two devices (e.g. football court).
3. Improve the security system.
4. Add more features in the Blynk application to show statistics of all building energyconsumption.
5. Apply the ESP32 deep-sleep feature when it is not in active mode to decrease its energyconsumption further.
