Selection of Conveyor Belt_MG14

In the system design, a conveyor belt is required for transferring the item to the required process. Conveyor belts have vast applications including airports and megamarkets. There are many types of conveyor belts, these include the roller bed conveyor belt, the curved belt, and the incline/decline belt conveyor belt. For bottle filling system, incline/decline conveyors are not suitable ‎[12], this is because they are used to carry items or products to a high or low location. As shown in Table 8, there are two options that can be used for this design. Option two can be used to minimize the physical size of the system. However, it is very costly and hard to implement the components. Option 1 is very suitable for the system, as it is easy to build the system over it, additionally, it is relatively cheap in price and has a simple structure consisting of at least two rollers to build this type of conveyor belt.
