Power Distribution System Description (MG5)

The QU 39-bus radial distribution system is in Figure ‎1

According to KAHARAMA standards, the voltage level in all the QU 39 buses is 11 kV and the maximum voltage fluctuation at all buses should not exceed 6%. The network is fed from the utility with 67 MVA through a main HV/MV power station. The main power station contains four transformers rated at 40 MVA each. The current carrying capacity in all cables in the system equals 326 A, since only one type of cables is used, which is the 11KV cable. For each bus, the real power and reactive power are specified as shown in Table ‎1 based on the data provided by QU-FGSD.
