• Networking Topology

Mesh network has several advantages that make it the best networking method that could be used to satisfy the design constraints, the main advantages of a mesh network are illustrated as follow.

1. Less number of AP is required
2. Adapted and extendable (large coverage)
3. Allows self-healing for the connected nodes
4. Allows self-configuring for the connected nodes

• Negotiation algorithm: The proposed negotiation process is the distributed system, which uses a combination of the two approaches Centralized and Decentralized

Centralized: among devices.

De-Centralized (fully-distributed): for the co-ordinator.

• Smart Phone Application

To set the smart appliances’ priorities and monitor their operations, a smartphone application was developed using “Blynk” tools.
