Conclusion and Future work_MG2

 Conclusion

It is evident from the results taken from the simulation that the model is working and producing acceptable results that closely resembles the expected results given the simulation parameters. Moreover, the model worked well in both forward and backward mode and delivered the same power in both directions for the same phase angle. Additionally, the wave forms of voltages and currents produced by the simulation are satisfactory and within expectations. Furthermore, the phase shift control is controlling the current and the speed of charge as expected. Also regarding the usage of the standards, they were not used since they are related to the practical implementation, which was not done due to recent events of COVID-19. Furthermore the table below shows the complaince of the system with the set constraints.

Future Work

Moving forward a more comprehensive testing for the components that will be used in the practical implementation. Furthermore, the project will be tested practically, and results will be recorded and finally, all the results from both the simulation and the practical implementations are going to be compared to the theoretical results to make sure that the simulation model, as well as the practical model, are behaving as expected. However, due to recent unfortunate events surrounding the COVID-19 epidemic and the consequent suspension of classes further analysis for practical work that is at the university campus. Thus moving forward wasn’t possible with practical implementation, all the work was focused on the simulation part by improving the design to resemble real-world results as closely as possible to supplement the need for practical implementation. Also, the phase shift control can be tuned further by using a more accurate model to achieve better result. The application can be synced with the micro-controller to control design remotely also the application interface can be done better.
