As it can be seen in the figure above, the level sensor’s main role is to monitor or to keep track of the remaining liquid level in the tank such that once it needs refilling, the PLC will then send a command to a DC pump, to flow water/liquid from the second storage tank to the main tank that is used in production. The sensor has been successfully verified as it only detected the presence of liquid in the tank only at the actual level of the liquid not anywhere else.
