Introduction
The bottle filling industry has expanded rapidly alongside the industrial revolution. Since its inception in the 1900s, corporations have strived to produce the most up-to-date systems that could cut down costs yet be highly efficient in production. Machines that are aimed for filling liquids or food into bottles are called bottle filling systems. Bottle filling systems are the most significant tools used in the process of product packing, this is applied in pharmaceutical, beverage, farming, and chemical industries. Manual techniques used for bottle filling cannot be applied in current mass-production industries, this is due to the big difference in time efficiency in comparison to automatic methods and systems. Moreover, the consistency in the process of bottle filling can likewise be one more issue ascending out of the manual bottle filling techniques. Hence, the role of bottle filling machines rises along with the rising industrial production lines.
Automation is used for all command devices and PLC modules are used to minimize the need for humans and help in creating higher production rates. PLC plays an important role in automation, which reduces complexity, improves protection, and is cost-effective. In this project, an automatic bottle filling system with a PLC control system will be designed and implemented, considering all the given limitations yet yielding most optimal outputs.
